21 weeks

this month, i've been more pregnant than evar!

major heartburn. (i normally don't have this, so i'm a big baby when it comes to it)
soreness all over (and i mean all.over.).
sleepless nights.
shortness of breath.
sharp pains in my pelvic area.
i'm officially wearing eye glasses 24/7... even in the shower. oopsie! (worked as an optician when preggo w/ aislynn, and never ever thought this would happen to me. ha!).
frequent trips to the restroom, and before i was a trooper at holding it, but now, she's a UFC fighter hammering away at my bladder.
my pre-preggo izod undies are screaming, and i can't find new ones ANYWHERE, so motherhood maternity's bogo sale saved the day!
... and finally, my feet are starting to swell.  (well, at least one foot is. i'm praying its because of last July's foot surgery.)

other than that, we're rockin'!

baby registry is complete.
although, i admit, it wasn't as fun the 2nd go-round.
it amazes me what they come up with...
sorry, but personally, i don't need a bottle warmer, or a wipe warmer. (both of which we got for aislynn, and used ummmm once. lol)
we also got the diaper genie.  (dear lord, please ban those things! nothing worse than lifting the lid and being punched in the face with poo. bleh)

hmmm...
other than that, i dig a lot of the new stuff...
not so much the pricing of it, but the idea.
people are very clever these days, but i'm clever enough not to buy into the hype of a $500+ stroller.

okay okay... maybe Jr is, however.
he's dead set on one that nudges $400. (that's wayyy more than the jenny lind crib i have my eyes set on)
that scares me, but its pretty much the only thing he has picked out, so i really can't complain, especially with a c-section in my future, and the hours Jr is going to work, mama is going to need something light weight, height-sized right, and easy to maneuver. maybe, we can find it on super sale, somewhere?? ::crosses fingers::

anywho... i won't complain, because he took these loverly photos of me at 20 weeks. <3
he's such a hoot, and such a trigger-happy photogropapa.
love you, sweetie. <3

and here's a new 21 week photo:

Uhm, I went to WalMart and just found some good old granny panties from hanes..they have been the best! Gonna see if I can find them online for you.

About the baby items, I got it all BOTH times and rarely use it..I end up giving it away or returning it for money...DIAPERS, WIPES, AND MILK... essentials! So good job to you! :D

Crib was just about the ONLY thing we splurged on... $475.00, and it been used more this second time around than the first time as you may know! :D

Other than that my Momma does a good job at finding things at Garage Sales! :D

Love those pics that Jr took of you..Ricardo used to try..poor thing.. total fail, I looked huge and pale most the time! HA!!!

oh goodness!!! Noooo granny panties for me! LOL I don't even wear big comfy clothes to sleep... makes me feel like a whale. LOLL The maternity ones I got are hipster. haha!

I didn't think about registering diapers and stuff... mainly because we switched up with Aislynn so much, bc she was so slim, and sometimes the Huggies fit her, and then soon Luvs fit her... Luckily, we were given all kinds of brands with Aislynn, and we used every single last pamper! lol

Ahhh, cribs are so beautiful!! My mother purchased a Jenny Lind crib for us as babies, and she's been around for 30+ years, plus I like the simplicity of the crib... goes better with the nursery theme. Otherwise, she'd prob have one of those elaborate cribs. lol

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I set the settings for Jr, and just told him to snap. lol

I did buy the wipe warmer. It was so useful since Bebo was brought closer to the coller weather he had a think for pooping and sleeping and cold whips will make him wake up. So the wipe warmer was a life saver for use. He never woke uo for diaper changes. I even bought the traveling wipe warmer. Lol. I still use it now for the cold season.

And bottle warmer is a total waste of money. What I did and this advice I got it from my mom.

1. Have a thermos with boiling hot water and room temp water and just calculate. Usually that mean 1 ounce of hot water and 5 ounces of regular water and it was perfectly warm for him to drink.
2. Keep warm water in bottle and wrap bottle with a diaper by the time you wake up tested out and it should be warm and good enough for baby to drink. Then just add formula.

But its best for you to not get her use to warm milk only warm it during cold weather. And another thing buy that thingy to stir the formula into the milk. Shaking the milk and formula produces air and that air makes a colic baby. That will be a LIFE SAVER. Trust me!

And stroller advice. Buy a lightweight stoller. Dont get sucked on buying the car/stroller system. We bought one and gave it away by his first year. It was a total waste of money, the stroller was super bulky and heavy. And I didnt like it for shopping... I was that annoying Mom that couldnt move bc of her big stoller. Lol.

Buy the carseat and look on craigslist for does strollers that are only for the carseat. And let that be the your stroller for while baby has to be in the carseat and once baby is finally able to hold her head use the lightweight stroller.

Well those are my suggestion. They outgrow everything and Im glad I didnt go bananas with buying stuff. I didnt even do the regestry but its crazy to me when people do them and have 5+ pages & have done the registry in 2 other places with the same amount of pages. CRAZY! Lol.
